As most of my regulars would know, I love Pete Doherty so much I even made a toy of him (can only find a picture of the prototype atm which is v. badly sewn.. http://emerald-arts.deviantart.com/art/Pete-Doherty-prototype-67290594 will post real Broken Hearted Pete when I find it).I found a lovely article about Pete helping a sixteen year old English boy who has the most awful sort of bone cancer, took him to a Babyshambles gig and have him his own dressing room, took him to the after party... see, he's not all bad. Now if someone could just get him to fix his teeth :P
