Mate (nautical) short for First Mate.
He can be your bunkmate, cellmate, check/class/crew/floor/house/office/room or ship mate. Mate stands approximately 13cm tall and 9 1/2 cm wide.
He is from the sketchbook that lives in my bag and is entiredly made by hand.
