Marketing link

Through the labyrinth of the Etsy forums I came across a link to a blog with some excellent marketing advice. Thought I would link it here because unlike most of the marketing stuff I read, it's actually useful and more than just the standard "promote promote promote".

Right then, back to emailing my portfolio ;) Listed a whooole lot of stuff on Etsy today and am feeling rather proud of myself hehe

Thanks for linking to my blog! I'm so glad you found that post helpful - I just came home from work and banged it out while I was still caffeinated. I wasn't sure if *anybody* would want to read it, haha.

By the way, I absolutely LOVE your little creatures! I have a problem with collecting stuffed animal monstery things - I've got ice bat, A Cat Called Marty Cohen and a *bunch* of his friends, and this little petit monstre that Christian Lacroix designed the Christmas I was in Paris. I love all my little misfits.

I may need to get one of yours for my christmas tree - soo cute.

Emma the etsy shop looks great.

I love your little character called Dust and I love your description too.

Total kick-ass job.

Hi Yellow Lux,

Ahhh caffeine, one of my very dear friends ;) It was really useful, trust me. I'm always micro-adjusting my strategies, there's so much marketing info out there it's kind of hard to filter the useful from the totally not useful.

Omg your toys are great, I've seen the Ugly Dolls before, but that Cat is the living end. So funny. I'd love to see a picture of the Lacroix one. I'm not much of a fan of his clothes (bit garish for me) but his visual diaries are incredible.
